There are no real recurring characters, or at least from what i can tell there aren't. Its just a great comic full of strange perverse humor. Why does this type of web comic work? I must say its riding on some pretty good little gags here and there. Its also got quite a shock factor built in. The visual style is very simple. Thick black lines and flat color make up most of the work. There are at times gruesome depictions of death and mutilation.
